Dashboard Technical Accelerator

Frequently Asked Questions

An accelerator is a Power BI or Tableau dashboard that is ready for analysis and insights as soon as you connect your data. The required data is generated using the Dashboard Technical Accelerator, where you map your data into the expected format. A step-by-step guide is also available to help you connect your data to the accelerator dashboard.

Each accelerator has an expiry date set by the admin. If it has expired, you won’t be able to access or process data with it. Please contact your administrator to request an extension or renewal.

You can log in using your Google account. Only authorized users can access the tool. If your email is not registered, you’ll see an error page. Please contact your administrator for access.

If your Google account is not authorized, you'll receive an "Authentication Error" message. Please contact your administrator to request access.

Yes. All uploaded files and SQL credentials are stored securely and are tied to your session. Sessions automatically expire after 30 minutes of inactivity or when you log out.

No. You can only use one data source per session — either file upload or SQL connection.

Your dataset can have any number of tables or sheets but only a maximum of 1 million rows of data can be present per table or sheet. This is intended to get the correct output excel file.

Yes, since accelerator dashboards connect to static Excel files, you need to run the Dashboard Technical Accelerator each time to generate the latest data. However, you don’t have to repeat the full process — your previous field mappings are saved. If you use the same SQL connection or file name, your mappings will auto-load (this may take a few seconds), and you can directly proceed to export.

You can upload .csv, .xlsx, or .xls files as data source. Only 1 file can be uploaded at a time.

Yes. If you want to change a mapping, simply return to the field selection step, make the updates, and validate again before exporting.

After logging in, you’ll see a list of accelerators assigned to your account. If you don’t see any accelerators, contact your administrator.

Ensure that the exported data from the Dashboard Technical Accelerator is correctly loaded into the dashboard file. Follow the guide provided for connecting your data to the dashboard.

Click the Validate button. If any fields are missing table or column selections, a message will pop up showing how many are incomplete. This does not cover validating the data types. These rows will also be highlighted in red so you can easily identify and correct them.

Once you select an accelerator, any supporting files such as the Guide (PDF), Sample Data (Excel), and Demo Video will appear automatically. You can download each of them by clicking the respective download buttons shown on the accelerator details card.

If your uploaded file or SQL database is large, it may take a few seconds to load tables and columns. Similarly, if you're reconnecting to a previous file or source, your saved mappings will auto-load — which may also take a short while depending on file size or network speed.

If the page looks broken like if buttons or text are misaligned, some parts appear missing, or things look out of place then try clearing your browser cache and then reloading the page. This often fixes the issue and the page should load correctly afterward.
